if you are on a budget but you want to upgrade your gun as you get money, then you should talk to a local dealer/gunsmith about what you should get, and how easily you can upgrade your gun. one of the best improvements you can make is buying a short-stroke piston instead of direct impingement (or gas powered)

so apparently over the week the cost of the AR skyrocketed which i should have known
and i couldn't even find one here in oregon so i had a friend look online for me and he was telling me was finding AR's for no cheaper then 1500 on online auctions. apparently they said that even manufactures are telling gun stores to talk to sometime after the first of the year so instead i Bought a SKS for 425$ ill post up a pic tmrw.

ars are awesome, I built one earlier this year. But home defense = shotgun with birdshot/low caliber pistol. You want to fuck the invader up but not who is behind them.

i can't argue with you u is right and i need to get a good shotgun, i just want to get some assualt rifles before they are illegal but while i was at this store where i got my SKS i was looking at some of their shotguns. any suggestions on a good shotgun?

Thats why you hit them center mass, 2 in the chest and 1 in the head. Youd actually be suprised at how well birdshot penetrates at close range. :shake:
As far as shotguns mossy 500 defender, remington 870, benelli nova, any pump really. And slidefires are awesome, I want an m&p 15 22 with one. Thats the only way id be able to shoot rapidly and be able to afford it lol

Hey man,
I build Ar's all the time. One great thing about the AR15's is if you get a Multical lower receiver, you can go from a .22 all the way up to a .50cal bmg just by swapping out the upper receiver and magazine. one thing you can do is get an 80% lower receiver, which is completely machined out except for the trigger group. you drill that out and your lower has no serial numbers is 100% legal if you build it on your own. it doesnt need to be registered or anything. perfect gun for home protection, its what i use as well. Any questions feel free to pm me or email me refl3x08@gmail.com |
