If you buy one legally, and they get banned, will the feds come knocking on your door to take it away?

as far as gun confiscation... here is one scenario that doesn't seem too far left field to possibly happen:

AR's are a lot of fun. I've been wanting to expand my gun collection for a while, but something always seems to come up. I really want one of these as my next home defense piece:

That article is scary as shit man. What the fuck is wrong with all these stupid ass, brainwashed people? We need this in our country? I can understand making harsher laws, but to go from the extremes we have today to the extremes of gun confiscation.. Ya were fucked and everybody best believe Obama was brewing this shit all along.

How many people think of Obama's past and his lack of being a soldier and never having to protect himself or this country has to do with his decisions? I mean someone who has never been put in a life threatening situation, furthermore on behalf of this country, has no right changing our amendments if he never has had to exercise it.

I had an AR. Was fun for range shooting but that's a rich mans sport! Sending cases to the floor feels good till you pay for it weekly.. For me at least lol. But stunting has become just as bad if not worse lol

cool thanks for all the info guys, i had a guy at work tell me i could pick up a AR at walmart for 750$ plus they would give me a 100$ gift card or atleast thats what they did with his friend, i don't see that happening i fckin hate walmart for one and for two i had never heard of the brand which was zig zag

austin thanks for the post with the confiscation stuff that shit seems VERY realistic and i hadn't really thought of it like that, everyone that i talk to including myself talks about see what happens if you come after my guns. i do pity the fuckers that go down south to gather guns if that ever happens.

this was my first AR and there is no beating an LWRC. just read about them or buy some AR magazines where they torture test rifles. #1
but this is only if you can afford the 2400$ price tag. trust me, its worth it.
