Shipping bike to next duty station?
Posted by: Reed - 05-12-2013, 06:06 PM - Forum: Military - No Replies

I figured there would be a thread on this but I couldn't find one.

I thought I would have to pay to ship my bike from Cali to Ft. Hood, but I was told when I go on leave (home) I can take my bike to the nearest military base and they'll ship it for me for free. Does anyone have any more information on this? It'd be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks

Fresh Paint Upgraded Hb 04 636..ScottieD
Posted by: ScottieD - 05-11-2013, 03:30 PM - Forum: Projects and Builds - Replies (2)

Well I tore my bike down over two months ago. Just got all my stuff in minus my rotor (zx11d) so I am going to start rebuilding today. Just got done adjusting my valves... I'll sync the throttle bodies when it is all together. Along with the fresh paint I have a new left side 190 13mm Magura for my new NDC big rotor HB (can't wait to try this thing out). I have several pics I'll post as I go.

 f4i ignition advance?
Posted by: Str8JDM - 05-10-2013, 12:49 AM - Forum: Stunt Discussion - Replies (10)

im a beginner currently learning. i have a f4i with a -1/54. ive been riding the lot for a bit and seem to be getting back to bp, but very choppy on the gas and just cant even it out. im at 3500 idle and it seems like its just not pulling enough when im at bp to just work with the brake. i really dont want to crank my sprockets up cuz i enjoy riding the street as well. so my next thought would be to advance the timing. i have somebosy that makes 2 degree and 4 degree advance. just wondering the deal with these. should i try a 2 degree? im afraid a 4 degree might cause pinging or damage motor.

just looking for advice
