Motonation Llc Announces Exclusive Licensing Agreement With Agv Sports Group, Inc.
Posted by: thomas - 06-22-2009, 06:25 PM - Forum: Motorcycle News and Press Releases - Replies (9)

June 22, 2009

For immediate release:

MOTONATION LLC ANNOUNCES EXCLUSIVE LICENSING AGREEMENT WITH AGV SPORTS GROUP, INC.
Motonation LLC is pleased to announce that it has reached a long term and exclusive licensing agreement with AGV Sports Group, Inc., one of the oldest-owned and operated apparel companies in the motorcycle industry. Motonation and AGV Sports Group believe that this strategic alliance and partnership will benefit both companies and allow for rapid development of new products for the USA market.

AGV Sports Group believes strongly that Motonation was the right choice for the future of this historic brand and to extend its 25 year commitment to producing technically superior products. Motonation feels that with Motonations ownership of the AGV Sports brand and trademarks for the American market in addition to its present exclusively distributed brands of Sidi boots and Vemar helmets that the companys motorcycle brand collection is now complete. Motonation is looking forward to offering its exclusive retailers a complete range of riding gear, from head to toe via its unique business model of marketing its exclusive product lines through committed partnerships with a limited number of select retailers combined with an aggressive promotional investment that enable the lines to grow in this competitive market.

Motonation is now hard at work on its 2010 AGV Sport product line which will start to show up at Motonations Partner retailers late in 2009.

About Motonation

When Motonation was created ten years ago it was based on a philosophy of doing as many things differently from its competitors as possible. Based around a racing metaphor; "When racing you will never pass anyone by following them, you have to be creative and bold by selecting lines that the others have not used." Thus, Motonation offers the finest brands of motorcycle protective wear in the world in its own unique way.
Motonation is the exclusive importer and distributor for: Sidi boots the finest engineered boots in the world and is complimented by the Sidi Design Series (S.D.S.) collection of Sidi branded gloves, socks and casual wear. Our group is completed by the Vemarline of high quality, Italian engineered street and off-road helmets.
These philosophies and these brands, now including AGV Sport, have manifested themselves in the programs Motonation has created to market the Sidi, Vemar and AGV Sport brands to American consumers though Motonations limited retailer base. Motonations marketing and promotional efforts move more consumers through retailers doors than any other brand; customer referral programs, unsurpassed customer service levels, high fill rates, extended terms, limited distribution policy and our policy of NO discount mail order advertising combine to make quality retailers across the USA have no choice but to offer Sidi, Vemar and now AGV Sport if they want to be viewed as the premier retailer in their community.

 Do you have kids???
Posted by: 636squid - 06-20-2009, 06:09 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (19)

I'm just wondering who has kids. My five year old loves this sport and loves watching me an my friends ride. The only thing that sometime bothers me is I kinda feel selfish because I know that you could be seriously hurt or die and that wouldn't be fair to her but you also gotta do what makes you happy.
Send Stunt Vids to the Troops!
Posted by: Valeska - 06-19-2009, 08:29 AM - Forum: Military - Replies (19)

I could have sworn I successfully posted this last night, but I do not see it anywhere in the forums, not sure what went wrong.. Oh well, 2nd try.

I had an idea to collect donated stunt vid dvds and distribute them to troops overseas, to help keep our boys entertained as well as likely improve the image of stuntriding as we know it!

The general idea as I had it was that both businesses & individuals alike could donate stunt dvds, whether new or used, and these would be sent out to as many overseas troops as possible. So if you have a duplicate copy of a vid, or an old one you don't watch anymore, you would be a saint to offer it to the cause.

I'm not sure how exactly to go about it, so does anyone out there have any helpful info or resources? I really want to see this happen somehow.
