Resurgence Gear Jeans - www.resurgencegear.com
Posted by: DENA - 02-25-2014, 04:19 AM - Forum: Feedback - Replies (1)

Check em out, I just started working with a new company out there called "Resurgence Gear". They have several types and styles for riding jeans and are using Pekev Technology. I haven't biffed it just yet with them on, but so far they are pretty comfy and easy to move in.

PERFORMANCE:
1-PROTECTION AGAINST ROAD IMPACT
2-PROTECTION AGAINST ABRASION
3-PROTECTION AGAINST CUT

PEKEV lining is developed to perform and protect your body in 6-8 seconds of hazard and proves to be true resurgent. Because of the enhanced strengths of fibers through right spinning techniques and with right blends of yarns in fabric development. Not only PEKEV performs but also it lasts longer. Others claim for jeans, we claim for our PEKEV lining and consider upper layer of Denim just an additional plus. Thats why we claim that PEKEV is not invented to hide under denim but its the real soldier that gives true protection.

DURABILITY:Unlike aramid fabric which degrades quickly PEKEV is strong against:

1-IONIC ENZYMES-IN 90% CASES ARAMID IS TREATED WITH IONIC ENZYMES IN DENIM WASHING AND IT AFFECTS THE PERFORMANCE OF ARAMID RIGHT FROM MANUFACTURING PREMISES.ARAMIDS ARE SENSITIVE TO STRONG ACIDS AND BASES.
2-BLEACH: IT DESTROYS ARAMIDS BUT NOT PEKEV.CHLORINE BLEACH* (SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE) TREATEMENT MEANS COMPLETE DESTRUCTION OF ARAMID STRENGTH.
3-ULTRA VIOLET: REDUCES THE LIFE OF ARAMIDS BUT NOT PEKEV.ARAMID FIBERS WILL DEGRADE IN SUNLIGHT AND IN HIGH UV ENVIRONMENT.WHILE WITH PEKEV YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY SAFE.
4-MOISTURE LEVELS: OF RAIN OR WASHING DONT AFFECT PEKEV UNLIKE ARAMIDS.
5-DETERGENTS: BRING NO CHANGE IN PEKEV PERFORMANCE.PEKEV IS SUPERIOR IN CHEMICAL RESISTANCE.

PEKEV performs but it lasts for longer and proves true protection lined jeans year after year.Above all it disperses body heat quickly and keeps your body cool even in long distance drives.

will the 09 zx10 calipers work with 05 636 dics?

No, they would "work" but it would be similar to how HoHey and FTI pads need to be trimmed because the rotor does not touch the whole pad.
These zx10r calipers are spaced out further so need the larger 08-10 310mm zx10 Rotors (or 2013 zx6 rotors if those bolt up).

03-2012 zx6R calipers designed for 300mm discs could work on 05-12 forks and these 08-10 zx10r rotors with a 5mm spacer. The disc diameter is 10mm larger so you only need a 5mm spacer since that is how much larger the rotors radius is.

Hope this helps ppl who dont already know!

 f4 question
Posted by: airbrushjohn - 02-16-2014, 09:46 PM - Forum: Projects and Builds - Replies (2)

my kid wrecked his f4, the bike runs awesome, and i had just painted it, i believe the front forks are tweaked! i'm trying to weigh my options here, should i get another set of f4 forks, or can i put a 954 front end, or a late model 600rr front end? i have seen others do this with a f4i.
any help would be greatly appreciated! thank you!

here's a pic of the bike before he wrecked
First F4i build
Posted by: ShakAttack - 02-15-2014, 03:11 AM - Forum: Projects and Builds - Replies (11)

Well I picked up an f4i this week and the tear down began after about 3 seconds of having her off the truck. I have a list of To Do's and a deadline that hopefully has good enough weather to rip her around.

The list
-Fabrication buddy making
-Flat top tank with lip
-Tail saver
-Seat hole foot plate
-Sync TB/clean air mod
-RSC Clutch (Ordered)
-Sick Innovations (All Ordered)
-Cage
-12 bar
-Subcage
-60 tooth rear sprocket/16 tooth front
-520 Red Chain (Ordered)
-Convertibars Black (I won a set at a raffle a few years back but didn't have a bike they fit. Upon picking up the f4i I gave Steve the owner a call to see if I could still redeem the certificate even though a few years had passed. To my surprise he was a SUPER nice guy and had no problem getting them sent out right away!)
-Set of f4i front calipers from a buddies crashed up bumblebee

Still need to order
-FT Dual 4 piston bracket
-Brembo 16x18
-80" line
-Cyclops Headlight

Picked a 2002 and got it home for a few laps around my underground parking garage, and then the tear down began.

Got her all tucked away for the night with the other toys

Got a little bathtub bondo action going on. These plastics weren't the greatest so they will see some ghetto rigging and a rattle can paint job till I get a better set.

Seat hole came out clean, I just have to borrow someones sowing maching to get it wrapped. So for now a ducttape job will work for mock up
