So I don't see any reviews for impaktech on here so I just wanted to share. (Admins, I hope I am not breaking any rules by sharing my experience?)

So I know Son doesn't sell on this website and his website is not really online. So I was a bit worried about the process of purchase. Anyhow, spoke with Son on facebook; Guy took care of me and I got all my stuff! There was a slight delay with him getting the products out so to make up for it he overnighted the stuff.

So all in all my experience was great! If anybody is worried about how legit it is because of no website (which I was) then don't worry, guy is legit and easy to work with.

| Help - 2nd Fan wont Fit! (using DCP mount on 636) |

The back of my r6 fan is hitting the cam sensor on the front of the head on my 636 motor (03-04 head)

Details: Okay, so I have an 05 radiator on my 03. I'm using the DCP radiator cage that's supposed to fit the 05 radiator, but has 03 mounts. I had to drop the top frame mounts about an inch lower because the rad cage was hitting the bottom triple, but I think it is because I have a steel frame. (or maybe I was mistakenly sent a standard 05 mount from dcp) So anyway,, I ran this all last season with no problems. Texas is hot so I decided to get a second fan. I ordered a light gray r6 fan because I had the mount for it that came with my rad cage.

Turns out this 2nd fan doesn't fit. The fan motor is hitting my cam sensor.

Here the radiator is attached at the bottom, and you can see how far off the radiator is from the top mounts because it's hitting the cam sensor plug.

Here is the cam sensor's factory position.

I tried turning the cam sensor 90 at a time and found one position where the sensor wouldn't hit the fan. (The retaining clip that holds the cam sensor in place makes it impossible to rotate the sensor any less than 90 at a time) Unfortunately, it looks like this position puts these wires dangerously close to the header. what do you guys think?

If no one here can help me figure something out, I'm going to toss this fan in the trash.

I wasn't going to make a build thread cause everyone's on Facebook now but i figured fuck it, why not? So you wont have to wait for a bunch of progress because its already been made.. Just got the motor to run for the first time tonight so im feelin' pretty good. I literally built this bike from a bare frame part by part hence me calling it frankenstein haha..

Anyways here's some pictures from beginning to now.
painted clip on clamps

I havent received a lot of parts yet including my on/off switch and starter control.. so i rigged switches and a push button up based off the wiring diagram.. had me scratching my head last night.. but i spent all day looking over diagram and figured out the clutch in switch was the culprit.. put a paper clip in it and it fired up and ran like a beast.

Waiting on NDC bracket with 600rr footbrake adapter, stunterX cage,DCP rad cage, front brake master, rear wheel, stunterx upper brace, and upper stay... Im running out of money for it but im gonna get brake lines and some other odd and ends and call it good for this season. If learn how to stop yard selling my shit and stop wrecking ill tear it down this winter and make it pretty.

Thought i would post up about these guys as i don't see anyone really talking about this stunt shop. I put a big order in over the xmas time and dealt with Hawaiian eddie, and i have nothing but positive things to say about this guy!!. He responds to my messages same day and works hard on getting things sorted out, sent me tracking numbers on parts shipped out, and has even been fast at resolving an issue i had with a wrong part shipped. Sean over at stealth stays has been over the top also!! Cant believe how good these guys are! I don't work for them or any connection, just posting my experience. I highly recommend ordering from this place, tons of parts and its nice to get everything at 1 place. I would never hesitate to place and order with these guys again!!
