  08 WR250X Stunt Build
Posted by: Rotorxhead7 - 08-05-2012, 08:03 PM - Forum: Projects and Builds - Replies (15)

I came across a nice WR250x a friend was parting with and decided to turn it into a stunt bike.<br />
<br />
So far I have:<br />
49 tooth rear sprocket<br />
12 Bar<br />
50 Stunt Rear Pegs<br />
50 Stunt Street Foot pegs<br />
Custom Two Brothers CBR600RR Under Tail Exhaust<br />
(New tires hiding under the table until its all done)<br />
<br />
On the way:<br />
Rear Handbrake Kit with Magura 13MM <br />
Righteous Stunt Clutch<br />
<br />
I Still Need:<br />
Front and Rear Axl Sliders<br />
Higher Handlebars - Need suggestions? what do you guys like on the moto stunt bikes?<br />
less obnoxious handguards to protect the rear handbrake lever... the one part I really really don't want to snap into pieces<br />
Anything I might have missed?<br />
<br />
Started at 4500 Miles...<br />
<img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c117/Evolutionist199/wr250x%20Stunt%20Build/IMG_0713.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c117/Evolutionist199/wr250x%20Stunt%20Build/IMG_0698.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<br />
12Bar<br />
<img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c117/Evolutionist199/wr250x%20Stunt%20Build/IMG_0857.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<br />
12 Bar Installation<br />
<img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c117/Evolutionist199/wr250x%20Stunt%20Build/IMG_0858.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<br />
CBR600RR Can:<br />
<img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c117/Evolutionist199/wr250x%20Stunt%20Build/IMG_0863.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<br />
Had to make a bracket that mounted in between the 12 bar and subframe to hold the weight of the exhaust can<br />
<br />
_/ \_ The Bracket looked like that and worked very nice...<br />
<img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c117/Evolutionist199/wr250x%20Stunt%20Build/IMG_0883.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c117/Evolutionist199/wr250x%20Stunt%20Build/IMG_0884.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<br />
Then I cut the stock muffler off the pipe, cut the CBR mid pipe to fit under the seat, and welded a small pipe in between the 2<br />
<img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c117/Evolutionist199/wr250x%20Stunt%20Build/IMG_0885.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<br />
<img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c117/Evolutionist199/wr250x%20Stunt%20Build/IMG_0897.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c117/Evolutionist199/wr250x%20Stunt%20Build/IMG_0900.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
I am very Proud of it, It came out way better then I thought it would<br />
<br />
50 Stunt showed up just in time<br />
<img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c117/Evolutionist199/wr250x%20Stunt%20Build/IMG_0891.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c117/Evolutionist199/wr250x%20Stunt%20Build/IMG_0899.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<br />
It is getting close to my first finalized Mark I plan. <br />
I would love to hear about handlebars and rear tire pressure from the pros.<br />
Also what do you guys think? I am open to constructive criticism.<br />
<br />
Thanks ~Joe<br />
<br />
p.s. this bike build was inspired by Brandon L of PA!<br />
I cant take any credit for the under tail exhaust...

  cummins vs duramax
Posted by: Raf - 08-05-2012, 12:35 AM - Forum: Automotive - Replies (19)

So the 7.3 is going away and I'm between a 2007+ duramax or a 2007+ Mega cab cummins. Really low miles on either one. <br />
I really liked the duramax a lot after busting out a round trip from AZ to FL with a buddy of mine but I also kinda have a hard on for a mega cab. Plus I know the cummins is a good engine. Ford is out and I dont want a gasser. I was also debating on an H1 but it would be older and less reliable so that would be a dumb decision.

  03 636 Water/ Oil Pump HELP!!!
Posted by: StuntBikeJake - 08-05-2012, 12:27 AM - Forum: Help and How To - Replies (15)

I was searcing around the forum but havent seen a person with this problem....<br />
<br />
Hopefully someone can give me a tip/advice on how to fix this issue...<br />
<br />
Lately my water/oil pump has been leaking out of the weep hole, thus telling me a seal is failing, i purchased all the seals so that I could just fix the problem.. the problem lies in that one of these bastards will not come out!!!!!! It is stuck into the oil pump body... dont have a clue on how to get it out, spent the better part of an hour trying, and managed to damage the body in the process, so lesson learned on what not to do.....<br />
<br />
Here is a link to a picture of the micro fiche to give you a visual of what im talking about. (I tried to embed it, but it kept coming out so small... sorry)<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/2003-kawasaki-ninja-zx-6r-zx636b/o/m149315#sch293542" target="_blank">http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmot...9315#sch293542</a><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
My problem is that the seal that is listed as part number #49073 will not come out of the oil pump body #16160, I need to remove it to replace the seal behind it..... but cannot for the life of me figure out how............................<br />
<br />
As I said I damaged the body so I will have to use my spare motor to rob parts I guess... <img src="images/legacy/smilies/banghead.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Banghead" class="inlineimg" /> or order a new one...<br />
<br />
My question is, has anyone else ran into this, and if so, how the fuck did you get that seal out to service that seal and also the one behind it???<br />
<br />
Hope OMR, or Johnny P or someone can offer some insite...

  SF headlight
Posted by: imafroggtoo - 08-04-2012, 08:53 PM - Forum: Stunt Discussion - Replies (30)

So I've got one of those streetfighter headlights on my F4i and one of the two bulbs blew out. <br />
<br />
I went to replace it and I noticed the ones in there (which sucked for night riding) were 20W.<br />
<br />
SO i replaced both of them with 50W bulbs, one flood and one spotlight to see which one I like better.......<br />
<br />
Seems brighter, my main concern is all the extra heat generated<br />
by the higher wattage bulbs.<br />
<br />
<br />
Anyone have experience with doing this??? I havn't had it on long enough to tell but I'm worried I might melt the headlight housing, fry some wires, or start a fire...
