First off I so renigged going back to an f4i<img src="images/legacy/smilies/LolLolLolLol.gif" border="0" alt="" title="LOL" class="inlineimg" /> but the price got this bike for was super cheap. I had bought an f4i and resold it for this bike. So this 04 636 has 1800 miles on it. Guy bought it at the end of 03 and crashed it at the beging of 04 it has been sitting since then. This build might take a little time so ill be bumping it with pics every now and then. So now for the juicy part all the goodies that will be going on it.<br />

Lets start with the motor! Im punching it out to 674cc. Sending the jugs and head out on monday. I will be using weisco pistons. other than the 2mil overbore I plan on keeping it stock. Meaning im not gona go crazy like bumping compression or degreeing the cams. I plan on doing a mild tune to get around 125hp and lots more torq<img src="images/legacy/smilies/cheers.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Cheers" class="inlineimg" /> wile keeping it reliable. Im also sending out the tranny to get undercut. So no more fucking trans issues. I will be replaceing the the old output shaft and clutch basket with a 2005 636 output shaft and clutch basket.<br />

Saturday night, an off-duty police officer was riding down the street on his motorcycle when apparently a little girl darted out from nowhere in front of his bike. He intentionally &quot;ditched&quot; the bike in an effort to avoid hitting her, but it was too late. His bike slammed into the 4-year-old, as well as her 18-year-old cousin, who had run out to help her. The cop, despite being injured himself, reportedly began trying to help the little girl. This is when the girl's father ran out of a nearby restaurant, saw the scene, and began taking out his fury on the man who had hurt his daughter.<br />
<br />
Reportedly the man identified himself as a police officer, but the infuriated man just kept pummeling. Then the 18-year-old cousin joined in. About to lose consciousness from the beating, the cop pulled out his gun and fired, killing the father.<br />
<br />
The little girl is recovering from her injuries, as is the police officer. The tragedy is being investigated.

Im close to finishing it but i got to find a good body man so i hope ill have it done by next spring. I have done 90% of the work myself but being in the army and this on the side with riding is alot to do.

I finally picked up a fifty because I found a good deal on it. It's kind of a Frankenstein bike with a whole bunch of parts from different manufacturers. I've fixed all the small things, but I have a few that have me scratching my head.<br />

I'm going to have to do a top end rebuild because it's smoking a little bit. It's got an 88 kit, but I dont know how to identify the manufacturer. Does it even matter, or can I just buy any piston/rings for the rebuild?? I'm pretty sure it's a stock head, but I'm not even sure of that either..<br />
<br />
One more problem. The front wheel is disc, but the caliper broke off along with the mounting tab that connected to the left fork. I was given the caliper, line, and master when I bought the bike... But I have a feeling it is impossible to repair. Any suggestions?
