| '04 636 Leaking Oil Near Headgasket |
|

I just picked up an '03 636 the other day and today when I was riding I noticed it was smoking a little and on the stator cover there was oil.....so I cleaned it all off to see where the leak was coming from and determined it seems to be coming from the gasket where the head meets the spacer right behind the 2 exhaust port (from the left side) of the engine...Apparently I am going to need to replace the head gasket now....has this happened to others?

And any tips on doing the head gasket replacement on this thing? It's my first 636 head gasket swap.

Does anyone know of a aftermarket fuel level gauge, or just a low fuel gauge I can install on a dirtbike gas tank?

I want to take my KX450F supermoto on the street, but the problem is there is literally no warning when its about to run out of gas. It sputters and 5 seconds later its out of gas and your pushing....
| Streeting the F4i advice |

I'm retiring the F4i from stunt and making it a normal ass street bike again. BUT I'm torn between making it look completely stock... or doing a custom wrap which would of coarse match or be the inverse of my 636 stunter. But I'm considering resale value if I ever do decide to part with it.
What do Y'all think?

$3K OBO. Hate to see it go, but going to an R6 for next year and need to raise some funds for the build. Bought from a fellow SR member last winter, stripped it to nothing and rebuilt it to my liking. Bike is a 2001 F4i, clean title in my name, with around 17k on the clock (has been geared -1 +12 since at least 10k according to previous owner).
Mod list off the top of my head:
-Sick Innovations Cage, Sick round bar, Sick StreetFighterz Edition SS plate, OMR subcage, DCP rad cage. (All new Gloss Black powdercoat on all these)
-Newly upholstered seats with clean hole in rear seat
-Geared -1 +12 (525 pitch)
-Ho Hey StreetFighterz 4 piston Dual Cal Bracket, all braided lines front and back, Brembo 16x19 HB master w/ StunterX resivoir kit.
-StunterX tank grip in dished OTown/top dent (holds about 2.5 gal)
-Woodcraft risers with solid bars
-Acerbis motard headlight
-Manual cam chain tensioner
-RSC clutch
-MotoMadness Shorty Exhaust
-2nd Idle, Tipover, and Kleen Air mods done
-All Bearings and pivots have been clean, inspected, and greased
The Bad:
-Right Fork seal is leaky
-Painted with Plastikote GM Victory red (not super pretty, but it works)
-Stock gas cap leaks a little bit
-Exhaust needs to be set up better/welded (temporary with auto clamps)

Currently being run naked, but have a trimmed upper, and primed side fairings that can go with it. Would just need turn signals and a mirror to be street legal. Also have boxes and boxes of parts that can be added with the right price or seperated. 2 sets of wheels, a complete 03 motor w/ ecu and harness, calipers, controls, rearsets, airbox, ETC ETC ETC. Can make another thread for the spare parts if theres enough interest. Will be adding more pictures and mods as I can recall them.. MAKE OFFERS!! Im not sure exactly what its worth and dont want to name a ridiculous price. May consider parting it out if its worth my time. Thanks!
