Sunday was the first time ive been able to ride my bike since april dew to deployment, broken frame, welding of the frame, powder coating and finishing touches. But after an hour of getting use to it again i noticed oil dripping off the motor, pulled the tank and seen about a 3 to 4 inch crack right next to the timing chain tensioner, and have no idea what happened. basically everytime i pulled the bike up to vertical about half way up i'd hear a loud pop sound couldn't tell where it was coming from at the time but i suspect the timing chain my local shop has no idea what i'm talking about so hopefully i can get an idea on here

Well that sucks, your gonna have to pull the head and replace or have it welded and machined. The head gasket it never gonna seal trying rig that crack at the block

you can try using honda bond or some type of RTV sealer as a temp fix. best bet is to replace the head.

pulled the cams off and the cylinder has a hair line crack right below the other crack and the timing chain tensioner was maxed out when i pulled it out so maybe the timing chain got stretched some how. i was wondering if that could be the problem if the chain kept slapping the side of the head?
