What is everyone running on the 09's? Was going to get an Impaktech but it looks like it wont fit with my Akrapovic full system. Because where the cross bar goes through the lowers, is right were my exhaust headers are...
Im actually contemplating a FI, because it will bolt on without any problems and I plan to do alot of street riding with this bike too, so the lightness would be cool. Id just like to hear from someone that actually has one and isnt sponsored by them
I can always mod any cage to fit, so Im a little on the fence about what I should do....What do you guys think?

only issue with those is they are ridiculous wide!
I run an F.I. on my 08.. basically the same frame.. no complaints. Not sponsored by them.

Thanks this kind of opinion means most to me...What other cages have you used? Can you give me a little more detail about what you like, and what if any problems youve had

width doesnt mean lack of clearance.... its narrow at the bottom and wide at the top... go look at some of his fb pics... looks to me between 7-9 inches off the bike at its widest point.... thats wide... mine is 5 tops...
Makes it hard to load 2 bikes into small trucks too with a wide cage

Not only that but it suck for down town traffic lane splitting and evasive maneuvers too! This is one of the reasons I dont want to get another Tyger Shark, they stick out alot and are heavy.

From other riders on the 07-08 (basically same frame) I have heard of caved in mount ears from the Impaktech due to it having a "floating" slider... also heard of sick cages causing roll ups on the tank - but he did NOT have sliders installed at the time that happened.
