Im still in high school and im getting a little interested in joining the air force. I've always have had a big interest in science and space and I think thats where the air force would combine the two. I'm not sure if I ever would want to fly a combat plane, but im not completely against it because I once was interested in being a commercial airline pilot, a year ago. I thing it would really cool to fly those spy planes remotely. Im not looking to be in direct combat with any enemies, example-bullets whizzing by my head.
Anyways, any feedback from anyone thats in or once was in the airforce, would be appreciated. How's the basic training? Any college aid funds? Would it help with any future careers such as in NASA or being a commercial airline pilot?
Thanks!........Peace.

http://www.gibill.va.gov/ you can view all the different benefits in there. as well as while your in you can use tuition assistance. i am taking college courses right now for free paid by the government. i am not even using my gi bill yet.
be careful when you go to the recruiter. dont tell them you have smmoked pot or anything, or even drank for that matter. your juveniles records are sealed. they may act like they can find out all this shit out about you, but they cant. they only know as much as you tell them. dont even bother telling them a sprain injuries or trips to the ER. you will save youreslf alot of paperwork. yes and no to questions and dont divulge anymore.
