The steel ones are great, but u wont be getting that bike back if the cops show up and want to be dicks

VIN #s are VERY important so anyone Interested in an Aluminum replacement using your factory head tube and sub section can PM me for more info. Build prices are 800$ for a factory style replacement from KG Made fabrication here in ATL.

Here in Fr, by insuring a bike with engine numbers only is ok.
Called my insurance and they told me it was ok, even for border crossing.
As long as you have an insurance, they are supposed to check if numbers are matching with a legit bike or a stolen one, from there you're ok.
I'll be getting one for sure when mine cracks, that looks SO MUCH better than stock ones!

Rowdy, that frame looks tits, but the motor mounts worry me. My stock frame tore across the motor mounts. Thinking you should at least gusset those things.

He is actually drawing up the CAD for some CNC motormounts. EBrake is testing the one with stock kawi motor mounts, so we shall see how they hold up. Its already a drastic Improvement over stock, I rode it yesterday and its solid as a rock

I worry about the steel to aluminum junctions haha and the aluminum cast to tubing you got there rowdy..
I've never seen them break in the rear, but if your welding and not heat treating.. There's no way that frame can last long. Especially with cast motormounts... Those break Easily.

Having a hacked up stock neck frame is going to get you in more trouble then having a custom half. Its illegal to modify the frame of a motor cycle you intend to use on the public highways in the state of florida. Granted if your playin in a lot they most likely will let you be. I was lookin over this at lunch with an investigator on some auto thefts im working and he stated even the lowest level patrol cops will call for a theft unit to inspect that or they will impound it unill its been inspected. And worse yet the motor vehile inspector could issue a Cod/salvage title before you receive it back.
Make sure you do your homework if your bikes clean title and plan to street it.
