so...
since i am bored out of my mind i have formed this masterplan. i'm getting new xrays januari 5th, and if it looks good then i'm buying a budget 900RR to build up, paint myself and then stretch it..
i'm not gonna put a big rear wheel on it, just 180's and 190's so i can keep on killin tires.
now what i want to do is ALSO wheelie it.. what's the max i should go with the stretching part? and what other things do i have to do, i dont know shit about stretching a bike. i just know a guy who can weld aluminium really well.

i just measured the stretch and its 7.5" over. I only wheelied the bike one day and it was pretty uneventful and it was lowered that day and I dont know how low it was , but any way putting all that aside its comparable to trying to pull a wheelie with a crappy tire on cold pavement, you just have to be smooth enough and it will come up. The 900rr has more weight bias towards the back in comparison to a gxr so it shouldnt give you any problems , I would be willing to bet you can get up to 10" over and wheelie it . I dont know about circles or such but I am currently building the bike up with a cage and hanbrake so I can have some more info for you in a week or two

i tried when borne's f4i was stretched n failed miserably... well i mean i wheelied it a bunch...then got a couple balance point... then was gonna try to turn a circle... then FAIL.
something i definitely like to try again tho. I have plans to stretch my street r6 so imma watch this thread.
one thing i noticed is that what gil said, hard to clutch up, but once your up it feels REALLY HIGH. i want to get used to it.
I plan on running a race take off cause i can get them cheap AND when hot the sc0 (softest) grip like a madman...so i think there would be no prob clutching it up after a race takeoff is hot.
