well i just got a motor from a guy on aa frame and i put my swingarm and forks on it today and realized its a zx6rr frame and im hoping its not a zx6rr motor because i want the 36 extra ccs.. but is there any way to tell?? let me know thanks.. im pretty bummed now

It should say on the Vin on the motor right?

the motor #s will either start with zx600 or zx636

it wouldnt have made much of a difference!!! my buddy put a 600rr motor in his 636 and I wouldnt have known the difference if he didnt tell me - and I have a 636

ZX600RR has no balls compared to a 636....How you cant tell the difference between them is beyond me...Just the slipper clutch alone gives it away, not to mention the 10 or so less HP is has...

Up in a wheelie there is almost no difference but on 2 wheels the 600 is noticeably down on power
