so.. im too lazy to find apexs post about 636's expiring.. but im sad to say that my tranny has started to go now. thank you mr brocha for speaking of things that should never be spoken...


is it normal for a tranny to shift into nuetral when i apply the slightest pressure on the shifter when on the gas? mid rpm range.

it happens whether i apply pressure up or down on the shifter, and only around mid RPM range. like if i am at a stop, apply generous throttle and then barely rest my foot on shifter around mid rpm range pops into nuetral.

tranny problems make me sad..
and by tranny i dont mean the ones that pitchita introduced me to in barcelona..

the myth is true!!! ive had perfect luck with my bike and havent ever had a problem with it but it seems its falling the fuck apart. ive perfeormed open heart surgery the past 5 weekends in a row out at the lot. first it was the fuel pump, then the throttle position sensor (took the top set of butterflys out just to get me by) and now it has no low end power, i lowsided a cirk this weekend and now it wont start. i checked all fuses, swapped all relays with a buddys, ive got the tip sensor re-wired. i dont know im looking for an 09-10 636,

and for all you f4i pole smokers out there, NO POINT IN GETTING AN f4i now. they are sooo old now they will all be clappin out soon. might as well stay on the dark side now

I hate bike problems!!
I was so pissed while working on my bike the other day, I kicked my muffler so hard it busted off the pipe and almost hit my little brother in the face, I then continued to get more pissed and started punching a brick wall.
Thought I broke my knuckle, but it feels ok now.

its fucked..just throw in a new motor..and save the one you have now..and somewhere down the road buy a junk blown one and swap the tranny into your good motor..boom new motor and trans and a back up.

that shit happens to my 05 sometimes...as soon as it slips into neutral, i have the clutch pulled in, and when i try to put it in gear, it makes a "clackalacking" noise and the shifter kinda vibrates. really annoying.
