The throttle body sync makes a huge difference. My old f4i had a horrible bog when I got it, but after a new set of spark plugs, a valve adjustment and throttle body sync the bog was gone. You hear so many people bitching about the bog because they never maintain their bikes. The sync tool is around $75 from motion pro and well worth it.

same concept except the f4i is much easier. there are only 2 vaccum lines and one adjuster in the middle. super easy to do!
