Billy Lane Sentenced to Six Years in Prison
Custom builder Billy Lane was sentenced to six years in the Florida Department of Corrections this week for his part in the death of Gerald Morelock; driving his truck with a BAC of .192, more than twice the legal limit in Florida, Lane's truck fatally struck Morelock's small motorcycle on Sept. 4, 2006.
After his release, Lane will serve three years of probation; his driver's license has been suspended for life.
Lane is currently being held by Florida's Brevard County Sherriff. He has until Oct. 15 to file an appeal. To view his sentencing, visit

haha! you dont know much about prison time do you. and its PAROLE not probation.
And he shouldnt be drinking and driving. Whats dumb is Dante Stallworth just killed someone while drinking and driving and got 30 days in JAIL and 2 years house arrest also in Florida!!!

Stallworthe hit someone that was jaywalking, and reportedly darted into traffic based on video evidence ... Lane plowed into a scooter while attempting to pass in a no passing zone across a double yellow line while speeding ... BAC's were significantly different also, Donte's was 0.126 and Lanes was 0.192%, that's a BIG difference. Stallworth did not flee the scene, he called 911 and acted responsibly. Lane went to the hospital and was held down by officers after he refused to give blood for dui test.
No logical comparisons between the two incidents.

either way there is two sides of every story... if you are not a fucking superstar or some media whore all I know if your life is fucked in cali if you get a DUI if you kill someone you might as well shoot yourself. Stars should be held to the same caliber as a regular average everyday joe..... with out those regular average everyday joes those stars wouldnt be shit!
