If you look at an average fork. it starts off thick where the seals are, then goes thinner until where the bottom triple grabs it, then it goes thin again up until where the clipons and triple clamp grab it.....
On my bike there is only about 1" of the 50mm part left under the triple before it goes thinner.....The Driven clipons were about 1.5" thick, leaving about 1/2 not touching the fork at all....The bolt spacing makes the bottom want to collapse since there is nothing behind it.....Also giving it a loose feeling no matter how tight you make them
I just dealt with the same issue on a 2006 GSXR 600 track bike I am building for someone, and Woodcraft actually makes a special set for that bike. That has a lip on the inside at the bottom to make up for the thinner part in the fork....So other bikes have the same issue
OK, I figured that is what you were talking about and this is on the 2013 fork correct?

Unfortunately you ordered the the generic 50mm clipons. As a representative of Drivenracing I wish I could've given you this info before but here is the part number that is a full kit hat comes with spacers to fix this problem. Part#: DCLO-48/50

It's cool I didn't really end up liking the color I bought anyways. I lost a few bucks but I sold them easily, and ended up liking the attacks better. Driven does have some nice stuff but I have none so attack matches better as I have their rearsets and triples

I just figured I would give you the info just in case any of your customers or anyone else wanted driven clipons. That way you knew there is actually a fix for it
