Plan on doing a handbrake too?
Im thinking of stunting mine but the cage gives me mixed feelings. I sorta want that even. on each side.
The progress looks impressive. I like how you changed the rear sets also.

How did you get the plastics back on after welding it?
Also is your steel subcage welded to the aluminum frame? If not, how did you bond your subcage to the frame?

Made holes for the metalwork to go through

i saved the undertail by guiding the metal rods next to them.. which left me only having to make 4 holes in the side fairings.

chopped the footpegs by and inch so i could finally check the ground clearance when it's down on the cage.. and jaiks..
if the homemade duosteps where not on it.. the bike would roll over..

small update
Discussed the cage over with a friend of mine, i think we are going to lengthen it.
Making sure both wheels stay on the ground... as the above picture is crap imo.
did some little things too:
brake pedal was too high, couldn't get it lower so i raised the brakepump with a homemade bracket
And since im gonna ride to the spot ( no trailer etc. ) a rear light comes in handy too
