whats the best way to put a nice dent in the tank? ive looked at some videos and they all seem to be for the f4i or the 636..
this damn tank cover annoys the shit outta me.. i was just gonna cut and bondo but i havent seeen any clean ones or effed up one for that matter...help a brotha out

Cut the cap out
Beat the tank down and back real far
Tack a lip
Install vent in tank and find a good place to weld bung
Bondo
Cut plastic to go around it
And ht Moto the metal

denting the tank is a piece of cake, without doin all that modification stuff, no point in welding the hole shut cuz you cant move a bung to anywhere higher up anyways, just use 2 heat guns taped together head the bottom of the plastic and set it on the tank real quick and push down hard with thick gloves on, repeat like 30 times and your set its not that hard at all really.

there not a good tank for a dent to begin with, kinda like the gixers there limited to doing a deep dent then the plastic fills it in even more. im small and could barely fit in the one i did and it was dented as far as possible. but id deff send to graveyard before trying to change the cap myself or anything like that. could probly stay in same spot or move forward just a bit, long as it didnt stick up far itd prolly be ok
