put a brand new busa rotor & pads on my FTI setup & wondering if i have to really break it in b4 my sesh, or just heat it up good an go at it?? lmk plz dont wanna ruin it, my old 1 was pretty warped dont wanna do the same again!!

id say couple good stops from 55mph would be good.
i guess just make sure it locks before you clutch up

haha thanks dude, yea i usually just go to like 45 mph a few times and then just ride it, im just trying to see if im right or wrong cause my other1 got fucked but i used it the entire summer tho, it looks good but its warped, like i spun my wheel and it would stop at some point then be free u know, now the new1 rotates steady at all times!

nice! only other thing i can say is i would scratch the rotor up with some sandpaper to help seat the pads. sand in small circles all the say round the rotor. but i'm sure you know that. just in case thought i'd mention it.

there is actually a break in so you dont glaze the pads to where they
dont work till you take a grinder to them. Its kinda like running heat cycles, not to much at first but enough, let it cool and do it again. i normally jack it up on th kickstand if in back and turn the idle up run it on and off the brake and cycle it a few times like 3 to 5 good times of heat and let cool then heat and then fine.....but thats just my

+1 take it easy on them warm it up let it cool down do it a couple times then should be good

if it a brand new rotor ill always lightly sand and brakeclean it 1st, but other than that i dont believe that there is any kind of breakin thing
