The jetski and snowmobile technologies with new 2strokes are ridiculous... makes sense it would transfer back into motocrossers

for the record I wasn't posting bubba on the 2 stroke in response to him going back to yamaha next year, or if they're even coming out with a new one. I just like the video

Did you notice the date on that video?
Yamaha was the worst bike he ever rode, if he is going back after just leaving them They must have opened the checkbook big..lol
He was riding this year for free for Yoshimura Suzuki Racing just to get away from Yamaha, so I don't see him going back to Yamaha.

Totally... I saw a clip of him talking about Suzuki. It seems most champions end up with them, I remember Mcgrath back in the day saying their managers were always the best people to work for.

If I remember correctly, Yamaha has been selling 2 strokes long after everyone stopped but all the R and D money is getting poured into 4 strokes, because of the push from our government to do away with 2 strokes altogether.
When 4 strokes were new to the supercross and out door motorcross series they were pigs, two strokes got the lions share of the R and D money back then.
Had they kept working on the 2 strokes, the 4 strokes wouldn't be winning. A 250 2 stroke is capable of making more power than a 4 stroke 450 when all things are equal.

this is true, but how much of that power gets put to the ground vs a 4 stroke. ie. too much wheel spin with a 2 stroke imo
