Question for you guys (Noob question I know)
Where is the fuel filter on our 50's? Is it that semi big black box on the left side above engine that has two hoses connected to both sides? I purchased one of those colorful filters off of ebay but no clue where I should install it lol.

They have a screen in the tank attached to the petcock to stop debris from getting into carb, but they deteriorate and fall apart over time. The filter you bought you have to put inline with the gas line going to carb from tank. Just cut a piece of the line out and install it.

Best thing you could ever do!!! Mine was messing up until I threw one Inline .
