damn Mike it has been a while i wondered what happened to ya but i caught a glimpse of a few riding pix on FB i think so i figured you were deff still rockin the wr.
R1 your a dumbass end of discussion lol. i'll be looking for the oxidization on your R1 motor next year from salt ridin lol. dirt bike or not we ride new shit not old beat up mx bikes converted to sumos or im sure neither of us would care. but i know i dont want my motor lookin like a 5 year old quad or dirtbike motor after 1 season. your motor is hidden so you wont see it as easy as ours stick right out. i still love you man

yea the oxidization is serious with that salt it will ruin everything. when i brought my bike down to florida last year just the salt getting tossed up from the wheels really took a toll on the bike. and yea if we had some trash mx bikes sure why not but im sure you want your bike to last and look good for a long time!

wr's looking good man, its nicely set up too!
ive tried a lot of different gearing (see below)..... but i have +10 (52 rear) right now and love it, i think thats the best for lot and the occasional street ride. but keep in mind i ride 99+% lot.
ive had stock and was fun before lots, then i had +7 and it didnt feel like enough for lot and was weak on the street, but did have slightly better top end than the +10, but not noticeably much difference. ive also done -1 front and +10 rear and it was way too much (especially for street) but i didnt even like it in the lot.
