I owned one last year. They are worth what you'll pay for one. Take that however it applies.

That being said, mine stayed in the night stand - for use in close quarters home invasion type scenerio. It'd do it's job perfectly in that situation, I've no doubt.

i have the 40 version, was a gift, had issues with it jamming up hollow points, there was a score mark on the feed ramp, cleaned it and no problems since, ive heard stories of them exploding in your hands bwhahahaha,
only complaint i have about it is its really bulky and heavy, i guess i can just throw it at the guy if it jams.

it comes with lifetime warranty and yea i read with cheap ammo it jams up. i bought winchester nato 124 grain so when i go to jacobs house i will head to the gun range to try it out. only thing online that concerned me was there was more than 1 case of fire pin failure but just send it in and it gets replaced for free.

with guns, I am a firm believer in buying a gun from a company that has been around a long time. S&W, Colt, Sig Sauer, Browning, Springfield, Beretta...... I just picked up a Glock and love it. I always hated them but this thing feels better in my hand than my dick!
The guy I got it from also had a Citadel compact 1911 .45. I read up on it and its supposed to be a great gun in the $500 range, all it needs is an after market magazine. Stock one is a pile of shit.
