I recently rode a friend 636 and realized my 636 idle pull is completely garbage in comparison. Mine seems helpless in recovering from any braking and wants to fall on its face. Im sure there has to be some others out there that have had this issue. Is my motor junk? Where to begin? Any ideas/info would be greatly appreciated!

You sure its not a 600. Tolerances in components can add up to a weak feeling motor

I rode my boy Kruss's bike the other day and thought it was only running on 1 cylinder

Couldnt believe how good MY bike runs/pulls idle after that little unenjoyable experience

Check ur spark plugs and pull your fuel pump out to make sure the filter isn't horribly dirty to start. Do u do regular oil changes? Does the bike seem to run good overall. Is your exhaust mounted and sealed correctly. All of these items might be a factor. But more info iS needed

I have a slight low idle pull as well. . . The whole summer I've rode my bike @ 4000 idle because it has that really low recovery issue (Like anything below 2000 and it will not recover by itself fast enough for my liking, I have to blip the throttle to get it back up faster) I have a 57 tooth and am switching to a 61 or 62 to help with this.

The bike seems to run good overall and wouldn't even be noticable for street riding. Just the low end idle. I am constantly blipping throttle. Currently running -1 front and 54 rear. I am going to start by replacing the plugs. I can't remember the last time they were swapped out. Did I get the motor that was assembled with a hangover? I don't know....

Well the plugs are due every 6k but are usually junk by about 4500 so its a good start. Also hows ur air filter. Is it getting all clogged and dirty. Check that when u are in there as well
