we did a CLS class over here in korea and they were discussing blood drainage times, jokingly they asked if someone wanted to try, i volunteered, the girl was a buddy from ait, she did better than some doctors ive had and it was her 1st time.

we were discussing how long it takes to bleed out.
giving an i.v. was an optional part of the course, no one wanted to do it because no one trusted each other to stick a needle in them, so i volunteered, the medics said that with a tube that small you can bleed for several minutes, the point was to show us dont panic too much. plus it was cool and we were bored lol
