I was putting my cage back on my bike the other night after going FF and when I went to final tighten the right side motor mount bolt it never got tight. I pulled the cage back off and when I took the bolt out there were some of the threads on the bolt. I know what I should do; drill out the hole and thread it for a larger bolt, but is there anything else I can do? One thing I thought of is just getting a longer bolt and pray for good threading down into the motor. 01 F4i with a Sick Innovation full cage. Cage has never been pancaked, all original Sick Innovation mounting hardware that is still in good condition.
Any help is appreciated
