Thats funny as hell.
I don't carry daily, but I've always had speed loaders for my S&W.
Quick and easy once you get the hang of them. I can probably blow through twice as many rounds at the range reloading the revolver then reloading the SIG clips.
IIRC back in the day, cops carrying revolvers carried speed loaders, but I could be mistaken.

Dude . .you forgot my question ..lol
Do you carry speed strips or a speed loader ??
I have a lot of trigger time with the p238 .. I mean A LOT !!! & its a great gun !! shoots fantastic & all the ones I have shot function great! ... But I would rather have .38 +p then .380 & I like the reliability & simpleness of the revolver.... I just came from daily carrying a GI 1911 so the s&w 637 I have now feels sooo small .

haha, my bad i forgot about the extra ammo question.
i used to carry a springfeild 1911a1 mil spec, but that got too bulky and heavy quick. so then i was carrying my springfield XD9 for a while, and was rocken the high cap mag which held 15 rounds.
when i first got the .38 i used to 1 carry speed loader so it would give me 5 more rounds in case i needed it. But that only lasted a few weeks. becuse i decided that since i live in a pretty rural area and dont live near anywhere like Bmore or Philly i would just rock the .38 snub and just keep the 5 rounds in the cylinder with no other extra rounds on me. BUT anytime i go ANYWHERE that is or even might be a little sketchy i leave the .38 at home and carry my 4" XD9 with 15 rounds in the clip.

Speed strips are the only way to go with the j frame!!! Low profile when in Ur pocket and just as quick to use. A lot times Ur cylinder release button gets in the way on a j frame smith when using a speed loader. Speed strips are cheaper and better with a j frame. I carry a smith j frame 649 in 357 mag, with .38 boot grips in a pocket holster every day.

I am not a fan of carrying a revolver I like the option of having 11-15 shots rather than 5 and then having to reload.. I typically carry my xd40 4" with me. Good little gun real accurate not to heavy.
