Typing this from an iPad right now. I gotta say this thing is awesome! Thinking bout buying one for myself. At first I wanted the MacBook but I already have a decent computer for editing film and such. This would be perfect for just chilling in my bed or couch and browsing the web.
Anyone else got one?

My parents got one for themselves/our family to use. I love it cause its super convenient and portable.

I just got an ipad 2 last week, it is amazing! I'm not gonna lie, I was one of those guys that hated on the first ipad alot. I always said it was an overhyped bigger ipod touch. But now they have gotten so popular that there are alot of very useful apps in the market, and a shit ton of movie/tv apps.
I got that new asus transformer last week, its got the same specs and software as the motorola Xoom. I thought I would like it, but that shit crashed like crazy and it played videos horribly. So I exhanged it for this new ipad. Best decision ever lol

i got an ipad for xmas and its pretty sweet but i usually only use it for playing words with friends

Yeah. I thought it was a waste of money, but after using it for the last 2 days, I'm hooked!
 Pretty much replaces the need for a laptop, as far as portability goes. And the apps on this thing are crazy! Everything is really smooth and fluid. I recommend trying an app called flipboard out. Changes the way you look at Facebook and Twitter.
