A lot of you on here are getting into DSLR's specifically for filming. These camera's can be very very intimidating when first approached especially if you(like I) are coming from more of a video camera background.
Here are some video tutorials I have compiled over the past year or so that have helped me greatly in the fundamentals of DSLR's like the Canon 7d
(my personal choice), 5dmii or t2i/t3i rebel.
This group of videos pertain to shooting video on the Canon 7D. They are BASIC 101 & extremely boring. Created by a programming instructor, although not a pro, he explains things VERY well.

I just filmed this in Daytona with my 60D. I didn't do any color grading or anything. Just pulled it off the camera and edited it. Watch in 1080p!
