i just picked up a $500 Astro(95 awd). although i wanted an express, i couldnt pass up the astro from a friend. passenger, im in the process of turning into my hauler.
but damn, i really want an express now, after seeing what you've done.
I used a friends astro for trackdays years ago... works great... and I suppose the upside is you will get better gas mileage.

Yep... bought it from home depot... this isnt exactly what I got but it's basically the same...

It was about 50c a sq foot... I attempted to use my nicer carpet for the ceiling and etc... but it wouldnt stick due to the bending required ... This carpet is thinner and much more pliable to be able to fit to the van... so I used this 3m high strength adhesive... (Don't buy anything else... the standard 3m spray wasnt strong enough)
After the ceiling and some curved parts of the walls I then went ahead and used it on the sides of the futon while I was at it. (Just for looks really)

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback....
The van has been on hold as I needed a break... financially and mentally ... However I did sell my supermoto that I wasnt riding and have been busy fixing these two non running 05/06 636's that I've picked up for dirt cheap (total of 2000 for both) anywho they are both running now and I received my van interior led lighting in the mail yesterday so I will be putting that in soon... still figuring out the futon padding and the electronics... (painting and wheels are going to be last as I'm forcing myself to finish the function before I do the style)
