the only thing i used stripper on was the tank, everything else was straight up sandpaper. aircraft stripper is sick, shit takes paint right off but it makes a fuckin mess and i didnt feel like stripping the wholeee frame so i just sanded it

no doubt trix ill be around this season for sure, definitly will ride together
frames getting painted same color as rims...turquoise blue. everything either will be black or turquoise, shooting for a clean look with nice color to it.
rah im going to wet sand the fairings but other than that nope havnt done any...im sure it would give everything a bit better of a finish but i cant bear to sand any more than i have been lol...shits time consuming as fuck and honestly i wet sanded a pair of rims i sprayed once and didnt notice THAT much of a difference

more progress today..put in alot of hours again
upper fairing before

another action pic...same exact spot, doing the same exact thing lmao. sanding sanding and more sanding

after
swingarm done..cell pics suck and its inside with bad lighting.
frame primed
frame painted...gonna hit it with some clear tommorow which will make it look 10x better
its been alot of work so far but ive been having fun with it the best i can. ive got about $60-70 into material total so far so it sure beats 700+ for powdercoating. after the frame is cleared thats pretty much the end of the hard parts and i can start peicing it back together...ill start painting the fairings soon too and a few other lil things here and there. want to clean up my wiring harness and add a switch into the headlight ground so i can have the option of 1. no lights at all 2.1 side lit 3.both lights lit. my goal is to make this bike fully inspectable because im on probation and not supposed to be riding so i at least want it semi cop friendly lol
