I fixed the crashcage's bottom bar by opening lowest bends littlebit and cut it half from the bottom of the engine:
Here's a pic of the bottom joint -> I didn't want to make any flanges... There's thinner tube inside this joint: other end has been welded into crash cage's right side's tube and other end has been locked with these two bolts to the cage's left side. We'll see if this joint will be strong enough:
Rear view:
Motormount tubes has these thinner sections which goes inside the frame's motormount pits:
Here's two pics of the nearly finnished subframe. It still needs undertray, plates for all electric crap and mounts for the rear pegs:

Thanks for the invite

I've heard those are THE killer parties
I made rear brackets for the cage yesterday, still needs horizontal tubes and some welding - looking good!

i cant believe is still see NONE of the f4i cages made like i had them made: with a crossbar between the headers, with a lip that goes into the place where the motormount spacer normally is. the cage gets fuckin rigid like that, 10 times stronger then with a big ass loop and way better looking. my cage lasted 4 years!!

This made me rethink my cage desing - I wasn't aware of this kind of solution you've used with your cage and I think I'll follow your design!
