When a web browser requests a page from a web server, it sends in some info about the client requesting the page (such as what browser they are using).
\n
\nIn the forum\'s PHP code you can parse that information to figure out if the client is on a mobile phone, and if so automatically apply the mobile template before sending the page back.

because personally I get mad when I visit certain sites and I am redirected to the "mobile" version automatically

\nI didnt buy an iphone to see the "mobile version" of websites.. I would still have a sidekick if thats what I wanted\r\n

\nIn that case, you could set up an option in the User CP like "Use mobile template when browsing from phone" or something to that affect That way it\'s not something you have to press each time.\r\n
