Just to clarify: To patch a tire you remove the tire and apply it to the inside of the tire correct? Would one need a patch made specifically for motorcycles?
Yes patch on inside of tire... don't think they make motorcycle patches tho... Not a common practice for the rest of the motorcycle world.. just cheap ass stunt riders LOL

Im telling you, plugs may work, but a plug patch is a plug with a patch on it too.......there is no downside to using them except that you have to take the tire off to install it. I would never just use a plus thats just shoved into a hole and hope it holds......If the holes too small I just drill it out, they are worth it.

I have 3 plugs as well I'm not confident they are gonna hold up much longer to burnouts.....
I wonder if the local MC shop carries those plug patches I'm gonna stick w/ those from now on.

Good chance the answer to that is no since a lot of shops will only replace a tire. If it's a dealer than you can already guess the answer if most likely no. I know I've never heard of a dealer that would. But still wouldn't hurt to ask, and if they do say know I know O'riley's and Pep boys carry
them.
