At first I was thinking it was from this which is the extra rubber after pulling it out of the mold like the was a void in it.
But if its in the same spot as this on the inside its where the tire is seemed or joined together. Most likely defective..
Mine is a 4412 too, forgot it was here at work..

The vee rubber tires did the same thing, something about being a re tread and heating up a hard compound tire

why do people like them? I've heard that they aren't the easiest tire to just whomp on like you have to run less pressure than you normally would

I'd disagree... They were very consistent from new to gone the two I've ran.. and used to be quite a bit cheaper at the beginning on the year than they are running now. And I actually started running higher air pressure using them.

Yea these dunlops were never that cheap but my first one was like $125 shipped and the last one was like $155

its called a cold shut... i do non destructive testing its from the two dont bind correctly they cool down to much before bonding resulting in a bad seal
