I have this exact same thing don't to my clutch arm it helps tremendously with clutch pull but you have to make sure you don't weld to much on it other wise it makes it really hard to adjust your clutch....I think 50 shipped for a brand new one is a good deal as long as you have good craftsmanship and know how long of a piece to weld into it!

I have made a few of them and you are correct about over welding/ craftmanship. I ordered a couple of them. I'll post pics up in the stunt companies. If people buy them I'll keep making them.
Way I see it you can replace your worn out clutch release(oem) and have the mod for basicialy the same price as a oem.

If your clutch release lever is wearing out then your throw out bearing is bad. When the bearing goes bad it turns the pin into a dremel tool.

Different! I was talking about the whole part!!! People should really learn the parts on their bike. Go to a dealer and ask to see a clutch release (costs $40) and you will see what I mean. And bolt it one is poor design it needs to be welded. Anyway end thread no demand for this.

Why would people need to replace the whole thing?? I have had several 636s and NEVER seen a bad one???
I understand the part cost $40...But u don't need that. It's unneeded just have people mail u the stock one...
And I have been running the bolt on mod for over a year with 0 issues whatsoever, so maybe u need to rethink your thoughts on what is good and bad design!
Also not trying to bash u brah don't take it the wrong way.

If I knew ahead of time that mine was worn out (and i didnt have a welder) then maybe, just maybe I would pay 50 for it. However, I extend arms for local guys here all the time and ive never seen one worn out. Most garage-fab guys like me charge 20 and the down time is only as long as it takes for the clear paint to dry.
If you could sell them with little to no overhead, then Id say do it for sure. But if you have to buy a bunch a head of time, i think youd get stuck with extra product. Remember we're talking about stunters here. For every 10 guys who say they want to buy one, 1 or 2 of them actually will.
