I had your same.problem at first also. When I put my harness in I didn't realize that there are a couple plugs that will fit each other and I had them backwards. I had the plug from the kill switch and starter button plugged into the headlight side. Make sure you don't have them backwards. Make sure the wires are the same color going through the plugs. Also check the voltage at the pink wire at the ecu. Should be around 6-9v. Nothing higher

Every one went through this problem with a RR and a F4I

Unfortunatly no prime on f4i can mean anything. Im tired of the electrical gremlins thats why ive replaced the whole harness. Im about to catch this bitch on fire. I just want to ride!!!!

happened to me, bypassed it by giving one of the wires ground connecting it to the battery?

Mine is fixed!!!
I feel like a dumbass, I knew there where plugs that are the same & that was it. This has happend twice now.

i LOL'D. Glad you figured it out. Definitely thought you had already checked the basic stuff. Think imma do a write up for diagnosing f4i no prime problems.

It actually took a buddy of mine with an f4i to help me figure it out. We pulled his bike next to mine & tried his ignition then we plugged up his start switch thats when we figured it out.

So if you can find a guy with a f4i in your area try that out. Hope you get it figured out

I fixed mine!!!!! mine ended up being the ignition. I actually just bought the ignition so i figured it was good but i guess it wasnt. Now it primes, and sparks. Fires up like a champ
