I can also agree that ten rounds may be a tad excessive. I am also looking for a career in law enforcement. Taking a civil service test later this month to hopefully get on at a department.

\r\n \r\n kinda looked like an ax?? either way that was crazy. maybe it could have went different if the cops were more prepared with those shooting tazers (if they carry them) cause those things drop people to the ground. he could have hurt the dog so no sense risking the dog on that guy. if he didnt have a weapon he obv. wouldnt have been shot to death. guy fucked up bigtime. cop had to make sure he couldnt finish that swing on his partner. one shot may not have stopped him. but 10 did.\r\n

\nMONTEREY PARK, Calif. (KABC) -' + '- A suspect armed with a crowbar was shot outside of a Carl\'s Jr. restaurant in Monterey Park on Monday morning.

\nAuthorities say the incident began with the suspect breaking windows at Carl\'s Jr. in the 1200 block of Avenida Cesar Chavez just before 9:30 a.m. The suspect then walked inside, while workers and customers ran outside.
\n
\nPolice arrived as the suspect was exiting the fast-food restaurant. After repeatedly telling the suspect to drop the weapon, the suspect was Tasered.

\nPolice said the Taser was ineffective, and the suspect swung the three-foot metal bar at officers twice. At least one officer opened fire on the suspect.

\nThe suspect was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

\nNo one else was injured in the incident. The officer-involved shooting is under investigation.\r\n
