I could go on about the show, but bottom line is its a series on national TV pushing our sport more mainstream. Yeah shots are setup, big deal. Seems they are doing just enough legally to get away with filming on the streets...otherwise Im sure it would be an Epic Fail!!! Props the Jason and his crew!!! PS. My only complaint is the voice over...I guess it fits for the Stealth Rider name. Sort of reminded me of the Untouchables DVD. Cant wait for the XDL Show to drop on Versus this fall. |

There will ALWAYS be haters. Some of you didn't like superbikes because there wasn't any street stunting in it n too much talking. Now there's more riding and some cool scenic street riding weather it's legitimate or not it's in there and you still complain. It's television n not everything is real. If the network wanted a reality show and they followed somebody around and there was no drama or suspense then it's not worth anything. People feed off of drama. We obviously cannot go around terrorizing streets and causing problems. We would have no Bikes, no liscences, no bus, no money and ruin the reputation we have built. The idea is to ride in awesome locations, tourist areas.. By doing this we broaden the audience of sport bike freestyle. It reaches a whole new demographic of people that may not be motorcycle enthusiast. This grows the sport for everyone to benefit. If your a street killing parking lot murderer then cool, more power to you if that's how you want to ride but growing the sport in these ways gives you guys an opportunity to get out to a local dealership and make a few extra dollars on a weekend and get some exposure. Television is the biggest key to all the doors this sport needs. People like Thomas and Randy Grube and all the pro riders that are doing shows and competing in a professional manner are bringing positive things to our so called "Sport" so the show may be weak to some of you and I may sound like a jerk but if your anybody that doesn't appreciate it than you'll never go far in this industry. But if you had the opportunity to be on it then it would be the coolest show on tv right? Well I wanna be one of those guys that can say I helped push the sport in a positive direction. If you don't want to contribute that's up to you and if you don't like the show then that's fine to, you don't have to watch it.. But if it's "better" than superbikes then 2+ million other people will be watching it every week. And next time you approach a sponsor or company of some sort n tell them you do sport bike freestyle riding and they say "oh like those guys on the Speed Channel?" don't get pissed just use it to your advantage. There's a reason they already know about what we do. I'm not saying that we are it but I can say that we have contributed. |
