09 ZX6R Strange Whirring Engine Noise

About a week ago I noticed my kawi making a strange whirring/whining noise around 4-8k rpms. It does it while rolling and while in neutral, with the clutch in and with the clutch out. I'm still trying to pin point where it's coming from, but I was curious if anyone on here has heard this noise…

cam chain tensioner? my 0304 does it, my f4i did it.....probably a loose cam chain and you need to pic up an APE manual cam chain tensioner. Not 100% sure with the 09 though
