Just got my first 50 - few questions

I finally picked up a fifty because I found a good deal on it. It's kind of a Frankenstein bike with a whole bunch of parts from different manufacturers. I've fixed all the small things, but I have a few that have me scratching my head. I'm going to have to do a top end rebuild because it's smoking…
