Stand up help?

My age is right. I was doing it when I was 14/15, I'll be 21 in December. I just didn't say what kind of bike

'98 Honda CG125 haha



I haven't actually tried it yet. I've gotten into position, but it just feels odd. My bike is stock geared so it'd have to be a big ass lot since I'd gain speed, as I'd be trying to practice at least getting it up in first gear since it's the easiest.

But should I push down with my back foot, or pull up, or neither?


EDIT: I ride every day, my bike is my daily transportation so I have a really good feel for it if that's what you meant by seat time.
