well im 140lbs, think i should invest in a rear suspension. before i go and dish out $110 on one from 50stunt, i want to see if there are any other options. anybody tried a shock/spring from a xr70? know any companies making the setup for a lil cheaper?

i was just wondering the same thing. Can't you just buy an hd spring for the rear shock and call it a day? I don't think you can adjust the stock one right?

i bought the spring already, it is not fun changing that spring, shock
is so small to get into any machine, and started stripping
crap while holding it in a vice. gave up, not worth the headache

take it somewhere, or send it to me ill change that shit in less than 5 minutes, smaller is easier actually. lot of auto repair places have spring compressors or just build one to fit it.

I just upgraded my spring and I'm still rockin the stock shock. Install of the spring was less time than taking the plastics off to get to it. Way cheaper and super easy to do. Here's the spring I have on my bike;
