so im pretty sure i fucked up

... i cut my red and green wires and put them together for the tilt sensor... then for some reason i cut the white one... would this cause my lights not to come back on when i hook them back up...

you're not supposed to clip the white one...

Multiple people have told you that the tip over has nothing to do with the lights.

Yes you are, you connect the two outer wires and leave the white one disconnected.

If your headlights worked before you bypassed the tip over switch then you probably forgot to plug something back in when you put the upper back on.
Are your hand controls plugged in?
