those 05-06 tanks blow because of the half tank which makes you just slide out and back. Just my opinion

i have used griptape,stompgrip,surfpad,some rubber shit. yea the surf pad would be great if it lasted more than 2 weeks

my DK surfgrip lasted 2+ years on my old gsxr and on my 05-06 636 and the foam bump takes care of the lip issue

1)had a dent that deep hated 2)had the raised pieces of surfpad on there and thats exactly what kept falling off 3)i posted this for people that want to do a lip could get an idea of what they might want not so people could post up how if you use the right grip ur fine.......if that was true y is it that everyone I talk to says they absolutely hate the tank of 05-06 and they also tried everything and the tank was the main reason y they got rid of tje bike???????
