Hmmmm my first frame almost cracked completely in half at the neck. Well I figured i'd get it out of the way instead of powder coating and it cracking and me have to pay extra for stripping and repowdercoating it after it's fixed not to mention for it to be prepped for welding.
Also if I'm seeing some oil at the top near the head should i replace that gasket?

when the motor mounts get loose the frame flexes alot and the motor mounts act like a dead blow hammer ..
the problem with most reinforced frames is the welds penitrate the frame too deep and weaking it ,the vertical welds are usually the ones that fail

Well hopefully this guy knows his shit but I think he does as he does make 150k sandrails from complete scratch but that could have no bearing on anything. Only time will tell I guess
Here's the one he's building now

Can't wait to see the finished product.
Also, I dont blame you a bit for bracing the frame from the get go. I'm gonna do this to every bike I get from here on out!!

Roger, since we are talkinga bout bracing. I was thinking when i do my next frame. putting dry ice around the rest of the frame to isolate the heat to just the weld area? Also this should help disapate the heat throughout the frame faster? Your thoughts?
