So I'm wanting to upgrade my 50 handbrake from the drums to disc and was wondering if anyone has ever run the red baron rear handbrake kit? If so are there any mounting issues/fitment. Does it work well? I've rode many cable handbrake setups, from the homemade to the 50 stunt extended brake arm modded ones. I'm wanting disc and need any info you guys can give me on this setup... Thanks.

there are a few mountain bike shops in my area I'm going to take the entire setup there soon and find a pad that will work or a caliper that will fit the bracket

don't forget to add the cost of a new rim because they have to lace the Red Baron hub and it is cheaper to buy a new rim then to send them one and have them un do it and redo the laces.and whatever you do for the love of God don't do what I did. I decided I had to have a 12 inch rim in the back so now I play hell trying to keep tubes from pinching and finding a tire that fits the rim and wolnt pop off

Probably would have been cheaper/easier to get the mx style complete chinese rear end like I did. Then again maybe not because it required cutting into the frame, rebuilding the sub frame and getting and modding a shock mount adapter. :P Oh well at least the hard part is done.
